Susannah Enkema

Susannah Enkema is Vice President of Consumer Insights and New Business, U30 Group, Inc., Knoxville, Tennessee. As a senior leader at U30, Susannah’s responsibilities span sales, research, and management where she provides strategic recommendations and consumer insights to a number of Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Enkema specializes in creating custom market research focused on getting clients closer to consumers’ experiences. With U30, Ms. Enkema has excelled at qualitative research beyond the focus group. Refining methodologies like photo journals, online discussion boards, blog journals, deprivation studies, ethnographies, and ethnographic interviews, she has helped clients discover consumers’ wants and needs and the language consumers’ use to describe them. Susannah has a unique acumen for new business development and maintains substantial experience in developing and launching new business platforms. Ms. Enkema has worked with many of American’s top brands including Coca-Cola, MTV, National Geographic Traveler, Starbucks, Jockey International, Wrigley, Alcatel-Lucent, and numerous others. She is a results-oriented marketing professional with a proven track record of success. She is a conceptual thinker, skilled researcher, and excellent communicator.

Prior to joining U30 and the corporate world in 1999, Susannah worked for the University of Tennessee where she led the development of the Division I Women’s Rowing Program. She served as Head Coach from 1994 until 1998, competing in the inaugural NCAA Championships in 1998.

Ms. Enkema is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she holds an MS in Cultural Studies and a BS in Political Science. She is a RIVA trained moderator. Susannah and her family live in Knoxville, Tennessee.
